Privacy Policy
Last updated October 11, 2026
Miti is a private tool between you and God. We keep only what the app needs to work, we keep it behind your account, and we never sell it.
- No ads. Nobody pays to reach you through Miti.
- We never sell your data, and we don’t share it for advertising.
- Only you can read your journal, habits, health numbers and photos.
- You can delete anything you add, or your whole account.
What Miti keeps
| Your account | Your email address, your first name, and your password. The password is stored scrambled (hashed) by our sign-in provider. We can’t read it. |
|---|---|
| Journal | The entries you write, with their dates and titles. |
| Habits | The habits you set up, the days they’re due, and each time you check one off, with your streaks and XP. |
| The Word | Where you left off in the Bible, your highlights and notes, your Bible Study progress and your prayer activity. |
| Health | The numbers you enter: your height, weight, birth year, activity level and goal, plus meals, water, workouts, sets, weigh-ins and supplements you log. |
| Progress photos | Optional. If you add them, they are saved in a private storage area that only your signed-in account can open. |
Your health information is your own. We use it only to run the features you ask for, such as working out your calorie target. We don’t use it for anything else.
Who can see it
Every table that holds your information is protected by row level security in the database. In plain words: the database itself only hands your rows to your signed-in account. Other members can’t see them, because Miti has no feed, no followers and no public profile.
We may need to look at data to fix a problem you report to us. We only do that when it’s needed, and only to solve that problem.
The companies that help us run Miti
- Supabase hosts our database, sign-in and file storage.
- Vercel hosts the website. Like any web host, it sees your IP address and the pages you request, for security and to keep the site running.
- Google Fonts may supply a typeface to your browser on some devices, which means Google sees that request.
- jsDelivr serves the exercise pictures. It sees your IP address and which pictures your browser requests.
- Open Food Facts is asked about a barcode only when you scan one in the food log. We send the barcode number and nothing about you.
If you send feedback from Settings, we save your message with the screen you were on and your browser type, so we can fix what you ran into.
These providers handle data for us under their own privacy terms. They don’t get to use it for their own purposes.
Your AI, only if you choose
“Take It to Your AI” builds a reflection prompt from words you choose and opens it in the AI you pick, such as ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini. That text goes to that company and follows their privacy terms. Miti doesn’t see it or keep it, and it’s never sent unless you tap to send it.
Cookies and tracking
Miti doesn’t use advertising cookies, and it doesn’t run analytics or tracking tools. Your browser keeps a few things on your device so the app works, such as your sign-in and your last-used settings.
Your choices
- Edit or delete any entry, habit, meal, workout or photo inside the app.
- Delete your account. Open Settings in the app and tap Delete Account. Your account and everything in it, including your photos, is deleted right away.
- Ask for a copy of what we keep about you.
- Sign out any time. Signing out leaves your data in your account.
Keeping it safe
Everything travels over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Passwords are hashed. Access to your rows and photos is limited to your account. No system is perfect, so please choose a password you don’t use anywhere else.
Age
Miti is made for adults. It isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly keep their information.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we’ll say so in the app or by email before it takes effect, and the date at the top will change.
